Doggy Drool Station
You cannot be more prepared for those hot days with this amazing and oh so practical doggy water dish. It is the perfect height for medium to large dogs and small dogs can use it as their personal bubble bath. When the dogs have had their fill - it will also double as a bird bath! Made from reclaimed barn wood, and great sink from Alan and Janie and some metal roofing trim.

The Price I Pay For Some Good Wood!
This mirror is for Kris - all because she helped get the great barn wood in Bacoda. She had the mirror and I framed it using the wood we scavenged! I hope she likes it! Thanks again Kris, the wood is really making a difference in my new business!

Up For Auction!
The Tonka Truck Bed and Breakfast is going up for auction at the Harbor History Museum Rocks Dinner and Auction On September 21, 2013. I attended the auction last year and it is really a great event to support activities at the HHM in Gig Harbor. The good news....I have three more great Tonka trucks just waiting to be recreated!

Get Yourself Organized
Need a place to hang your necklaces and scarves or your keys and dog leashes - this is it! The shelf and key hanger is made from reclaimed barn wood, a screw in hook from a pile of junk and an old rake head.
Table or Bench - You Decide!
This table can also pose as a bench because of the adjustable legs taken from an old school desk. The wood is reclaimed from an 80 year old barn out of Bacoda, WA., and the grates that make up the top are from an old recycled barbeque. Wouldn't this look great in your outdoor cooking area or even as your new coffee table?!

An Apple A Day!
Thank heaven for apple season - Baren is in heaven. He brings them in and holds them in his mouth for an hour...then eats the entire apple. This is why in the fall his name changes to Apple "B"!
Diggin' This Birdhouse!
Found a great old shovel and topped it with a red birdhouse with bird feeder below all made from reclaimed fence boards and found treasures!

Fairest Of Them All!
Reclaimed pallet wood make up this 28" x 36" mirror with a slight green tint. Perfect for the hallway!
Pillow Talk
The rains yesterday kept me inside with my trusty sewing machine. It does not cause the adrenaline pumping excitement like the chop saw or the pneumatic nailers, but it sure gets the job done. These four pillows have hand painted stripes and nice big stars making them perfect for display for every patriot!

Almost Sad To See It Go - ALMOST!
The big garden table with the sink and window - SOLD! Now I have a big hole in my vendor space at New 2 You, guess I need to get that wood dry and ready for production! I loved that bench - it really started this whole venture. Sad to see it go but glad it went!
Lesson Learned!
The warnings were all over the news last night - "Storm Watch" on King 5. Keith was mindful enough to bring in the outdoor furniture cushions and dog beds and even Colin stored some items in the shed. Me - I just sat on the couch planning my Thursday, which was to include working on a very large mirror for Kris. I of course did not have the common sense to think ahead and maybe BRING IN SOME WOOD so it wouldn't be soaking wet! So today I am sewing, which has become my least favorite creative outlet, but on days like this and due to circumstances that were within my control but dismissed, my punishment is to spend the day hunkered over the old Singer! What have I learned - too early to tell, but I will make a note to get some wood in the shop on Saturday when the sun returns.
