The Birds Are Digging It!
This fun birdhouse on a shovel would make a great present for the gardener in your life. It would look great mounted on a fence or leaned up against a tree in the woods. It's made from recycled fence wood, found metal treasures and has a little tin tray on the bottom to hold bird seed.

Shop Local Saturday November 30th
This is the third year for the Small Business Saturday and New2You in Port Orchard will be celebrating with drawings for store gift certificates and a large number of the almost 200 booths will have special discounts to help you get a start or finish up your holiday shopping. New2You has antiques, reclaimed and recycled items (Shabby Lab items included) and new gifts and accessories. It's a great way to find that special something and help the local community of vendors who live and shop in the area. Treats will be served! Come by Shabby Lab (Vendor 632) for a 20% discount. Hope to see you there!
See The Light!
This fun lamp was a great find at St. Vincent's - just needed a little paint and a shade which I picked up at Goodwill, took off the cover and tied on strips of tulle to make this perfect table lamp for a sweet little princess' room!

Little Blue Nightstand
I found this treasure at St. Vincent's in Port Orchard, WA last week and it was U-G-L-Y (You ain't got not alibi - you ugly!). New knobs and a fresh coat of paint (which of course has to be distressed because the wood is dented and dinged), and it would be adorable in a fun fresh bedroom!

Oh, The Places You'll Go Rocking Horse
This fun reclaimed rocking horse had been made by someone long ago and I painted it a pretty yellow and modge podged portions of the book by Dr. Suess "Oh, The Places You'll Go" all over. It's fun to ride and encouraging to read.
